Check names and regional terms in the transcript. Summary output language is a separate choice from the transcription route; use the available summary language settings for the result you need.
Indian-language conversations often include English names or technical terms. For other supported language combinations, choose Global Languages Mix instead. Language support does not guarantee perfect recognition of every accent, dialect or code-switching combination.
The Indian Languages + English Mix route supports Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Dogri, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Nepali, Odia, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Santali, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, English. Recognition quality varies with the recording, language and background noise.
Choose Indian Languages + English Mix for these conversations. A single-language on-device model can mishear speech in another language.
The cloud audio route produces a transcript after processing; it does not promise live captions while recording. Live on-device words depend on a supported Apple speech model and device.
