How to use Minom for meeting notes

Step 1

Choose Meeting and the spoken language

Obtain participants’ permission where required, select Meeting and choose the transcription route that matches the conversation.

Step 2

Record or capture a supported browser meeting

Use the mobile recorder for in-person conversations, import saved audio or use the Minom Chrome Extension with supported Google Meet, Zoom and Teams workflows.

Step 3

Check and share the minutes

Review the summary and transcript. Confirm decisions, task owners and deadlines against what was actually said, then export or share the notes.

Meeting minutes are a draft you can verify

AI can miss context or mishear audio. Keep the transcript available, check important decisions and do not assign an owner or deadline unless the meeting actually established one.

Questions before you record

Can Minom generate MoM from an audio file?

Yes. Select Meeting, upload the audio using a supported cloud language route and generate a summary. Upload and processing time depend on recording length and connection speed.

Can I use Minom with Google Meet, Zoom or Teams?

Minom’s Chrome Extension supports browser meeting workflows for these platforms. Check the help guide for setup and transcript capture requirements.

Is there a ten-minute limit on each meeting?

There is no ten-minute per-recording cap. Your monthly plan balance still limits the amount of transcription and summarization usage available.
